The first 2010 winter concert will be presented by Annie and the Hedonists on January 31st at 2 p.m. at the Hoags Corners Fire House, located at 7237 NY Rte 66 in the Town of Nassau. For more information and to sample their music, go to http://www.jonny.aberman.org/hedonist/

A crew of parents, adult volunteers and Boy Scouts from Troop No.522 worked on the back entrance to the library and did an amazing job of rebuilding the ramp and steps. Thanks to all who participated, especially to Joe Wantuch, Eagle Scout canditate, who planned and organized this project. Funds for the materials for the renovation were provided by a special legislative grant obtained for the library by Assemblyman Tim Gordon.
Wii Game Night will be held on January 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Come and try our new Wii. Space is limited. Play sign up by calling 766-2715.
Also The Chess Tournament will be held on January 30th at 6:30 p.m. This one you should plan on calling to register.
Winter Stories and Cocoa will be held on January 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at the library. Come in and join Kristine for stories, songs and a craft, followed by a cup of hot cocoa. Warm your mind and body at your library.
