Fox, Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist;   James Patterson, 8th  Confession;   David Baldacci, First Family;   Harlan Corben Long Lost;  Diane Mott Davidson, Fatally Flaky;   Iris Johansen, Deadlock and many more. To access these books from the Nassau Free Library web page, please start by typing in the name of the book under the catalog search. Then, on the far right  of the page that comes up, go to Location/Details. Check the upper right to make sure that you are in Nassau Library. Click “reserve first available copy” and add library card number and pin number ( last four digits of your phone number).

Academy Award winner Frank Mouris and his wife Caroline, film animators, have created the 2009 Summer Reading Program’s animated public service announcement, ” Be Creative @ Your Library.” The highly celebrated team has works that have been seen on HBO, MTV, Nickelodeon and Sesame Street. Their independent film work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the National Film Registry. Frank and Caroline are long-time residents of Nassau and serve on the Nassau Library Board of Trustees. Watch for their public announcements in the public media and there will be a link on this site in the future. “Frank’s Film”, an academy award winner, is in the library’s collection.
