A dozen cookies is twelve, but a baker’s dozen is thirteen. Why? The answer has to do with the Dutch and the Town of Beverwick. Don’t know where Beverwick is? The answer to this question and more will be answered by storyteller Nancy Marie Payne on Wednesday, September 30th, at 4 p.m. at Nassau Reformed Church. The program will explore our Dutch Heritage along the Hudson River.
This program is made possible, in part, through COMMUNITY ARTS GRANTS, the State and Local Partnership Program of the New York State Council of the Arts and the Arts Center of the Capital Region. For more information, please call the library at 766-2715.
