The center for Screen-Time Awareness is the week of April 20th to the 26th.
Turning off the screen gives us time to think, read, create and do things we never have time for. This allows us to connect with our families and engage in our communities. We feel good about ourselves as we grow more physically and mentally active. Help us celebrate Turn-Off Week by checking out and joining in some of the activities listed on our calendar.
Federal and state tax forms, along with the instructions, are available at the library. If you have any questions, please search for the answers at the library.
A committee of dedicated town residents is working hard to plan enjoyable activities for the young people of the town of Nassau. Highlights will include ping pong, foosball, board games and free pizza! Youth Committee information will be posted at http://townofnassau.org/content/Departments/View/3.
Come to the Nassau Free Library at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5th, and create an adorable accordion card. This would make a great gift for a birthday or Mother’s Day. Participants will learn how to “stamp” or will learn new stamping techniques. Call the library at 766-2715 to register.
