Starting in April a Seed Library will be available for community members at the Nassau Free Library. The library is designed to give anyone interested in organic gardening, seeds to start. Do you have extra seeds to share? Organic Seed donations of packets labeled 2019 would be greatly appreciated!

2nd Annual Team Scrabble Challenge! Sunday, March 24th, 2pm -5pm

Join the Friends of the Nassau Free Library help raise funds at the Library. This non-traditional, team version of the game has three rounds, with the highest point winning team receiving prizes. Your entrance fee includes refreshments and participation in a silent auction. Bring a team of 2, 3, or 4 players, or join a team. $10/adult, $5/child. The Nassau Free Library is pleased to announce library patrons can now access the noted family history research site for free at the Library. Through arrangements with the provider and the Upper Hudson Library System, a library version of the program can be accessed using either library computers or personal laptops with Wi-Fi capability within Library confines.

Library Board member and Nassau Village Historian Kurt Vincent will offer assistance for beginners new to Ancestry by appointment.
