Children

There are many ways to involve children in the library and to foster early literacy skills.  Infants with their caregivers are welcome at our weekly Story Time and the staff will help everyone, parents as well as children, find age appropriate library materials.

The Children’s area of the library has a wide assortment of materials to entertain children of all ages:

  • board books
  • easy readers
  • junior fiction and non-fiction
  • dvds
  • audio books

And a good number of puzzles and toys to engage all children in reading.

Our children’s and family programs are described on the programs page and on our website calendar.
