Friends Events 2017

Nassau Free Library Grocery & Tote bags are now on sale at the library.  These roomy, green totes are reasonably priced at $4.00 each or 3 for $10.00.  Stock up on the bags and give them to all your friends and relatives!  All proceeds from sale of tote bags will benefit Nassau Free Library.

The Friends meet on the first Monday of the month at 7 PM in the library.

MISSION:
The Friends was established in 1973 to focus public attention on the Nassau Free Library, to stimulate use of the library’s resources and services and to help the library in its service to our community.Heart
MEETINGS:
The Friends meet the first MONDAY of the month at 7:00 pm in the library (except during the summer). Attendance is encouraged, but not mandatory. All events are posted at the library and are published in local papers.
MEMBERSHIP:
It’s a wonderful opportunity for you to become more involved.  We offer various levels of tax deductible memberships. Our entry level membership is ONLY $10.00.
ACTIVITIES:
The Friends provide refreshments for library events, and help pay for library programs.  Gifts from the Friends have furnished the teen section of the library,  purchased the outdoor sign, and the chairs in the meeting room.
