The Nassau Free Library Summer Reading Program

Children of all ages, including infants, are invited to "Catch the Reading Bug" this summer at the Nassau Free Library. We have books that will interest children of all ages, from picture books to easy readers to chapter books (we even have graphic novels!). If we don't have what you're looking for, we will order it for you.

Participants are either bumble bees (pre-readers)
or grasshoppers (independent readers).

~Bumble bees will receive one raffle ticket for every 15 minutes they listen to a story.
~Grasshoppers will receive one raffle ticket for every hour they read.
~This year we also have some great prizes for the parents who read to their children.

Raffle tickets will be used to win prizes on August 29th.

Each week bring your reading records in and receive a small prize in addition to your raffle tickets.
