Help support local children in need by purchasing a set of pajamas and a storybook sizes 6 months to 16. Bring your donation to the library between Oct.1 and Nov. 1. Tying the pajamas and book together with a ribbon or string will help keep the sets together. This program will coincide with the Great Give Back on 10/19.


The Nassau Free Library Seed Library is now open for business! The Seed Library will be available for community members at the Nassau Free Library. The library is designed to give anyone interested in organic gardening, seeds to start. Do you have extra seeds to share? Organic Seed donations of packets labeled 2019 would be greatly appreciated.  All that is required to acquire 5 free packets of seeds is a library card! Now at Nassau Free Library

The Nassau Free Library is pleased to announce library patrons can now access the noted family history research site for free at the Library. Through arrangements with the provider and the Upper Hudson Library System, a library version of the program can be accessed using either library computers or personal laptops with Wi-Fi capability within Library confines.

Library Board member and Nassau Village Historian Kurt Vincent will offer assistance for beginners new to Ancestry by appointment.
